i was just wondering if any one had an idea of how much it would cost some one to get in to a minisprint? How old do you think most mini sprint racers are? I have been watching sprints for a long time love dirt track racing. But i dont have the money to buy a sprint. Also how hard is it to learn how to set a mini up for the diffrent tracks? How long does it take and do you think a guy could go race by him self no set up help or pit crew and still have a good time running. Also i think i know the answer to this one but do you think 32 is to old to start minisprint racing lol?

You can find solid used turn-key cars for around $5,000. A Top of the line used or new car can go for around 10-12,000. The great thing is you can find engines on ebay for as low as $500, and just adding a header and you're ready to drop it into the car. As far as ages of drivers, there are a few younger kids as young as 13-14, and some drivers over 60. Many of the drivers are in the 16-25 year old range so you're not too old. If you plan on running Lawrenceburg, it really is just general basic setup stuff, nothing too complicated, its a track where you really have to be smooth though. Smaller tracks like Salem, TC, Moler, etc. it can get a little complicated, but the harder part is figuring out what the track will do, and this also applies to Lawrenceburg sometimes as well. There are alot of knowledgeable people in the mini-sprint community that have been doing this for a long time that would be glad to help you with setup information and tips. Last, yes you can go to the track by yourself and still be able to do it. Self starters so there really isn't a need for a guy on a 4 wheeler. And like I said previously, there are lots of people in the community that will help you out - all you have to do is ask.
Hope this helped.
