Last night was an extremely late night at Oswego due to weather and with ISMA Teams running at Cayuga today it has made for a very long tiring weekend for many. The May team was the class of the field for sure. As the race played out the closest racing action was between Ray Graham, Mike Lichty and Chris Perley four third, fourth and fifth; with Lichty getting by Graham for third on the last lap. Bentley Warren, Kelly Miller and Jason Spaulding were all eliminated on lap 3, Matt Palmer was also involved in this incident, he was the only one able to restart. Timmy Jedrzejek was out of the race on lap 12, unsure if something broke on the car to cause him to hit the inside hubrail on the back stretch. On lap 13 Matt Palmer hits the water barrels at the front pit entrance and spins on front stretch, Furlong, Graham and Burch all pit under this yellow. On the restart Trent Stephens ended up stopped on the back stretch just before the pit entrance, his chance of another Oswego win ended at this point. He was able to resart but I believe lost two laps in the pits. Another yellow flag flew on lap 37 at this point the red flag was displayed for refueling eliminating the lead the May cars had on the field but on the restart no one had anything for them. Now the speculation begins where will Charlie Schultz race on 8/1? Oswego host the $10,000 to win Mr. Supermodified Race that night with an additinal bonus of $20,000 for Charlie Schultz if he should win both races. MSA also has a race scheduled for 8/1. Let's see MSA Championship vs $30,000 payday, any guesses where Charlie Schultz will be on 8/1?
