The StormPay.com latemodel Fall National Invitational race is next weekend in Columbus, MS. I see that a few driver's from Indiana are invited. Have any of you heard or seen these guys race? Just wanting to know who to watch from up that way, if they come.

Thanks.

I've seen all those guys, except maybe Stitsworth; that names not really familiar. I'm kind of wondering why Steve Barnett isn't invited. I think he won just about every time he was in a crate this year, and I know he ran quite a few Stormpay races.

I THINK it was Bechelli that flipped last year at Twin Cities on labor day under caution.

Tyler Allen is an 11-year-old, for what it's worth; I don't recall if he was at the crate race at the Scott County Fair this year or not; if he was I've seen him, if not I haven't.

I've seen most of those guys drive Supers, too. I've gotta say I'd much rather see them driving Supers than Crates...I've yet to see a decent crate race.

I am not a Crate Late Model expert...Frankly I dont like them...BUT since some of those guys raced Supers in the past I might be of help.

I would say the reason Barnett wasnt invited was because the races he ran were not Stormpay.com Sanctioned.

Brad Barrow has been driving the K1NG car which is owned by Ray Godsey, Godsey was supposed to drive the car but decided instead to put Brad in the seat. Brad won a few races earlier in the season, and has ran consistent. Brad is a former Brownstown Speedway Super Late Model track champion. And did it by not even winning a race that season.

Mark Barber is also a former multi time Brownstown Speedway Super Late Model, UMP Modified, and Super Stock track champion. Decided to run Supers on a limited basis this year, and focus on the crates.

Mike Bichelli one time pulled a gun on someone in the pits at Union County Speedway.

Ya know I've been around racing my whole life and most of the people on here know my family and can confirm this.My father has dam near raced it all, from latemodels on pavement to midgets and sprints.Sprint cars to be sure will always be the closest to my heart. However I race modifieds as most of you know but I have ran in a latemodel a hand full of times and I even took a swing at the family sprint car deal in the early 80's and I have met some of the greatest people a guy could ever meet and I can proudly say a few of them are close friends but I have never heard one of them,NOT ONE OF THEM degrade, knock or criticise another racers talent or the form of racing that he or she does as much as a few of you do on this site.Yes I know it's a "INDIANA OPENWHEEL" thing but I want to say this,I come to this web site more than anyother site because the level of intelligence and info are miles above other racing related sites out there but a few of you are killing me with the negativity towards other forms of racing. Now I can't speak for any one other than me but I do take a little offense to some of the comments made from a few people on this site.Do you think a guy like myself or Lloyd Walls (who probably has more talent in his big toe than most) are sub-standard because of what he and I drive on the weekends?I don't want to sound like I'm cry'n so I'm going to stop while I'm ahead.Oh lay off of Chris Nunn he does more for racing (all forms of it) than most of you so-called race fans will ever do.Well enough of this B.S I hope everyone has a great Turkey day..Hope to see you at this weekends auction in Indy....
