American Mini Sprint Association competitors are counting down to one of the biggest racing weekends of the season as they join the World of Outlaws this Friday and Saturday evening at Lawrenceburg Speedway. AMSA headman Jerry Tague commented,"We've been blessed with tremendous schedule for 2009 all the way around,but this weekend is a really big deal for us. We've worked hard to plan a weekend that is competive,fun and entertaining for all involved."
The purse for the weekend has been increased with both nights of racing $100 just to start the feature. Friday night evening's pays $600 to win and Saturday evening's will pay $700 to win. As an added bonus, Saturday evening's event will start 24 cars for the feature event. An additional $50 bonus will be payed out to the hard charger of the race each evening courtesy of Roberts Auto Transport. The popular gas card give-away will also be part of the weekend's festivities.
The AMSA is working hard to create a safe,fun,family oriented approach to racing.The AMSA auxilliary will be back with another great meal for racers,crew and Lawrenceburg Speedway staff on Saturday evening. "Getting everyone together to relax,do a little bench racing and filling the stomach back up is a great way to continue to develope comraderie amongst our drivers,crew and the excellent staff at Lawrenceburg Speed",commented Tague.
