Saturday, May the sixth, the SCORA Sprint Car Series will race at Soggy Bottom Speedway, Morgantown, Kentucky. The SCORA race at Soggy Bottom Speedway will be the fifth show of the 2009 season. In four races there have been four different winners, Craig Budde at Charleston, Illinois, J. T. Stapp at Flora, Illinois, J.C. Bland at Kankakee, Illinois, and Ray Kenens at Kamp Motor Speedway, Boswell, Indiana. The Soggy Bottom race will guarantee the racers $200. tow money and this should attract a good field of cars. The points at this time are led by J. T. Stapp over Craig Budde. The rookie points are led by Alex Pettas, an Arizona transplant now living in Santa Claus, Indiana.
Next in line for SCORA is the Terre Haute Action Track on June 13, then back to Flora, Illinois and the Special at Osgood, Indiana at the Ripley County Fairgrounds sponsored by the Grub Company out of Osgood on July 3. Some of the drivers already entered for this weekend are Steve and Al Thomas, J. T. Stapp, Adam Beliles, Alex Pettas, Alex Coonan, J. L. Brewer, Matt Humphrey, Anthony Loehr, Dave Peperak, Joe Varvel, Tommy Rockwell

I would love to see sprint cars at Soggy Bottom, but Haubstadt is running a KISS race that night and it is close to home.

You race slightly uphill in 3 & 4 to the frontstretch & downhill in 1 & 2 to the backstretch.
