Thanks for the update. This girl is rooting for Jacob Wilson, Eric Gordon and Chet Fillip to have good Little 500 runs. I was hoping Doug Heveron would change his mind and give it one more try, not to be.

Not sure what the fastest field in history is, but this should be the most competitive. Tony elliot adveraged 11.31275 seconds per lap. 33rd place Jeff Banyas adveraged 12.06425. Thats just flat out impressive!

It really looks like to make the field today, you need 4 laps under 12 seconds. There are a few good drivers entered that did not show yesterday. Today should be interesting to say the least. Now for all of you sprint car teams, why did so many cars show up this year? The last couple of years there have only been a few cars not make the field, and some coaster cars. Right now the tail end of the field is very impressive. that 07 car ran very strong wed. night. It does not look like the purse has changed much, we are in the big econimic slow down, and there are more cars tring to get into this race than in the last several years. I'm stumped.
