In the past years there has seemed to be a source for pretty good updates on the race. Sometimes radio, other times someone painstakingly posted updates. Any word on a source this year? TJslideways.com? Any good Samaritans out there?
I think it's being broadcast localy on the MAX stations, but it doesn't look like they stream online. Anybody know different? |

Right now #5 of Tony Elliot has the Pole in a 6cylender, #91 of Steel in the center and the #20 6 cylender of SHANE HOLLINGSWORTH are fast so far. I am told at least 32 cars have taken time. Right now it looks like you need laps under 12 seconds to make the field. Looks like we may have one heck of a field for this year. Sorry no updat on Wilson, this was all I could get.
---------- Post added at 03:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:00 PM ---------- Dad says the infield is full of cars. He had to walk ouut to the parking lot to give me an update. Several guys are struggeling with the handeling. There is alot of excitement, right now as guys are tring to get into the top 15. Chet phillip hit the wall on his first attempt. He pulled in the infield and made adjustments, then came right back out. The car is fast, they are hopeing he will come back out for another run. |

Under 12 seconds just to make the field? Or just to be locked into 15th today? thats pretty quick. Any word on what time elliot put down to sit on the provisional pole? Both he and I believe it was Billy Puterbaugh were really quick in Nolen's 6 cylinder cars a year ago. Also where is Mr. Little 500 Eric Gordon?

Puterbaugh ran the Nolen 20 the past couple years. Shane is in it this year though.

Jacob Wilson was one of the faster cars and I think he ended up in row 2. The front row is the same as stated before with Elliott, Steele and Hollingsworth. I believe Tony Hunt is 4th.
