The Little 500 Fantasy League is set to kick off on Saturday, May 23rd with the 61st running of the Pay Less Little 500 at Anderson Speedway. Fantasy player registration is free.

The winner of the 2009 Little 500 Fantasy League will win a pair of tickets to the 200-lap USAC National Midget event at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, July 25th.

So they've got 27 entered now. We can expect to see Vennard, Litt, Windom, Steele, and Blonde still. Any word on McCune, Cox, Underwoods, Durnwald's car or Nowling's car? It sure would be cool, especially with the winged race on Wednesday now, to see a resurgence of Florida cars and drivers coming up. Guess we'll see in just a few days...

Would be great to see around 40 cars trying to make the race. Anybody know if Dave Darland will be running the Little 500? Can't wait, just one more week!

I agree, Spridge... The Florida cars are just one more thing that make the Little 500 unique. The cars alone are unique themselves in appearance and add some flavor.
