I am looking forward to the usac national sprint tour again here in PA but with the economy the way it is what kind of car count can be expected. Unfortunately I don't see mor than 5 or 6 of our locals taking off the wings.Went to a couple of Indiana speed weeks shows and have become spoiled and hardly take in any winged shows here anymore, fortunately ARDC has gone wingless and curb my appetite for wingless racing and have put on somme great racing.I am planning to attend some of the midget speedweek shows (bloomington, lawrenceburg, and kokomo) hope to meet some fans while there.

I find it interesting that on the return trip they are scheduled for Mercer. Mercer has had a few non-winged races over the years so the locals might have supported it. Since that time, Pittsburgh Motor Speedway has scheduled a winged race. Apparently, it is the first in a long time. There is also a tentative ASCOC race in WV after their Lernerville show on Friday. There is also a FAST Race at Attica, WOO at Lburg, $3K to win at Lburg and Wayne County. THere are alot of options for a winged car to run on Saturday so I wonder if any locals will suppoirt Mercer.

You must have read my mind, as I was just about to put a post up asking almost the same thing about the Eastern USAC swing this year...It's lest than a month away, was wondering if any of our friends out West of us could come up with a "pretty sure" list as to who will/should be coming in this year...Thanks in advance.

I hope you guys have a nice tour this year for the eastern swing. But I will just add that even in there home state of Indiana they have not had enough cars show up to even have a last chance race for non-qualify's.

I can't wait either! I'll be one happy camper in June. USAC in central PA at he begining of June. The next weekend I'm out to Indy for Midget Speedweek and then I'll finish up with some USAC action at Richmond.
Thankfully we've got ARDC and a couple wingless Super Sportsman races at the Grove to help tide us over!
