Just got a call from Joe Burdette, Joe tells me Brett is heading home. Brett did not require any surgery. If Brett wears his neckbrace and does not lift anything and just rest he would be ok. Great news!!
Thanks for all the prayers, Dave Rudisell

Any time you can avoid surgery it is great news. I will continue to keep Brett in my prayers and hope he makes a speedy recovery.

That is one tough kid with a Million Dollar Smile. Racing needs guys like Brett and his Dad Joe. Some of the finest people we have met. I spoke with Joe today and Brett asked Jeff Walker if "He had his car ready to go Friday"... Typical Brett, still able to joke in the toughest of times.
Brett and Coleman have developed a great bond and Brett is one of the first to greet us when we get to the track. What a fine young man. We are so thankful he is heading home so soon after a nasty crash.
BB, take your time healing. This sport will wait for you but, it is certainly a much better sport with you in it. And Dad Joe too. Get well soon Brett.

This is great news to hear Brett is coming home. I am sure that once Brett is recovered and is ready to come back Jeff Walker will have car already for him to continue his racing career.
Get well and a speedy recovery and I'm sure we will see you at the race tracks!
