In a continued show of support for Vermilion County Speedway, WITY 980am radio will be doing their hour long show entitled “The Speedway Show” LIVE from the track each and every Saturday Night. Bill Burnside, Lora Jacobson, Dave Brown and all the staff at WITY are very excited about the upcoming 2009 season. Along with Track Announcer Joe Jeffries they will be spreading the word about the happenings at Vermilion County Speedway. During this show you will hear results from the previous week, driver interviews, news on upcoming events and the show will pick a “Driver of the Week”. WITY will also be the station to tune into when there is a question of weather. Is the track hotline busy? Then simply dial that radio knob to 980 am and the WITY staff will be working closely with VCS staff to make sure as soon as a decision is made, it goes out on their airwaves.
