I don't suggest this for this weekend. However on mulit day Individual shows, Whats the likelyhood that with a announcement prior that a rained out friday show could be ran at NOON Saturday with the Saturday show taking place as normal? It should give a couple hours between shows for those experencing problems and time to do many things. (Motor change) Get backup ready.

Just wondering the thoughts of the teams and org's. I think the fans might love it. The only problem Is that a ticket price change or a evac and re addmittance might need to be in effect which some might be suprised by. Also. I don't know if crews, staff and push trucks would be up to twelve hour days. Although I've seen it before.

Your thoughts? As much as I'd love to watch racing any day, Including Easter Sunday. I realize that isn't gonna happen.
Chuck, planning myself to be with family in front of a Easter Ham and good company on this special day.

Eldora did just what you are talking about several years ago.

When The 4 Crown was a 2 day show, the Friday show got rained out and they ran both shows on Saturday.
I really liked it.Maybe that is why The 4 Crown is a one day show now.

This was also done at the Copper on Dirt last year.

I think this is a good idea. It would be a good day of racing saturday if the weather holds up like it is suppose to.

I had the same idea last Monday about running both shows at Eldora on Saturday and starting at noon if the Friday show gets rained out. I really don't think they considered it cause the answer i got was they liked the idea but it was to early in the week to think about that. Time is the big factor here. You can't decide it early enough in case the weather changes and by the time you do decide to try it it's to late in the week for everyone involved to make plans.
