If you are trying to get the image to appear and not just the link do this!!
Have the web page open in your photobucket account. Under the picture or maybe off to the right you will see a box with a few different links.

Copy the image code (for example: [IMG]ttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c63/Knoke77/Oddball%20Stuff/Mustbethissmart.jpg[/IMG])

You will need to remove the [IMG] at the beginning of the link and then [/IMG] at the end of the link or they will appear before and after the picture.

Then to post that picture click on the "Insert Image" button here on IOW and paste in that link and the picture will appear.

You don't need to remove the [img] tags. If you copy that [img]internet address of picture here[/img], it does the same thing that the image tag does.
