The SCORA Sprint Car Series has just signed it's second race in the state of Kentucky. Bluegrass Speedway, Bardstown, Kentucky has scheduled a SCORA race for Saturday, August 22. This makes the twenty first race on the schedule. The other SCORA race in Kentucky is at the Soggy Bottom Speedway, Morgantown, Kentucky on Saturday, June the 6th. The new SCORA Steel Block Sprint Car Series will be in four different states in 2009 starting at Charleston Speedway, Charleston, Illinois on Saturday May 9th. A few entries are in for the opener. They are Alex Coonan, J. C. Stapp, Danny Williams Jr., Dusty Wright, Dave Peperak, Dave Scott, Al and Steve Thomas, and Joe Varvel.

Do you still need a photographer? I am sorry I couldn't log into IOW on my cell phone the day I was heading down there so I didn't know your address, Might stop by on Friday if you will be home.

This is GREAT Sam, I always wanted to see a sprint car race at this high banked track. It is a great facility + its just about an hour away for me. This will be a good couple of weeks for sprint car racing in the state of Kentucky with the SCORA at Bluegrass Aug 22 and the MSCS race at Florence Aug 29.

Haubstat has KISS/MSCS on the June 6th date so I guess I wont be making my 1st trip to Soggy Bottoms. I might try to do the Bardstown show though as I have never been to that track either.
