Here is mine for dirt tracks only.
1)Kokomo-Best weely racing in Indiana:respect: 2)Bloomington-I love the red clay and the hillside seating. Also you can bring your own cooler.:thumb 3)Lawrenceburg-The Penthouse of dirt tracks in Indiana. Also, Section "A" is the only place to sit. Coolers allowed as well.:thumb 4)Belle Clair-Best midget track that I have ever seen. Old fairgrounds atmosphere.:thumb 5)Tri State-Best track prep equipment but unfortunately it is a tough drive for me. We lose an hour on the way home and no good way to get there. 6)Eldora-I love the action on the half mile. I hope they can get the track prep dialed in this year. 7)Waynesfield-Neat little track out in the middle of a corn field. If you build it they will come.:applaud: 8)Gas City-Very fan friendly but the seating is horrible for an old codger with bad knees. Just glad that they stayed open and the old man will have to suffer a little to see some great racing. 9)Talladega Short Track-Red clay and the worst boiled peanuts I have ever eaten.:O: Nothing like a little southern style, hillbilly, redneck racin.:rolling The rebel flags flys in the breeze. Yee Haa. 10)Brownstown-Another fairgrounds speedway that takes you back in time. I just wish they would run some open wheel stuff. Honorable mention: Terre Haute-It's called the Action Track for a reason. This is another track that with the right promoters will do well. A little TLC should do it. Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway-A very nice tri oval dirt track. However, they mostly run late models and mortifieds. I would love to see an open wheel show there. Fremont Speedway-Another fairgrounds track that runs multiple open wheel shows on a regular basis.

1) PAS (sound system, atmosphere, second to none)
2) Kokomo (Now) 3) The New Lawrenceburg Speedway 4) Lowe's Motor Speedway (need i say the Dirt Track) 5) Eldora ( I thiink its' the most OVERRATED race track in the country, but I love it:doh 6) Haubstadt (I don't get there very often, brutal drive) 7) Angel Park (was only there once, hope to get back this summer) 8) Ventura (on the ocean, great view) 9) Lernerville (I'd like to see the non-wingers there) 10) Williamsgrove (great Friday night party) Honorable mentions: Gas City, Manzy, New Egypt, Lincoln PA, Putnamville, Susky (back in the day) and Grandview (non-wingers ONLY):checkered:

1. Kokomo-Best weekly; & Haubstadt (there is a reason Tom won promoter of the year two years in a row).
3. Indy Motor Speedway (I know, this is apples and oranges) 4. Granite City 5. Jacksonville (try it, you'll like it) 6. Bloomington 7. Gas City & Lawrenceburg Also went to East Bay (the racing itself, due to the drivers and sometimes good track preparation, was usually very good. Can't say much about everything else, such as announcing, concessions, seating, promotion, etc.), Anderson, THAT, Indy Mile (boat races, anyone), IRP, Paragon, and Springfield Mile. Frank Daigh |

Haubstadt, if you have never been there, you REALLY have no idea what your missing.
Bloomington, great racing , and truly the most beautiful track in Indiana. Terre Haute, welcome old girl. Just wish the champ cars were there this year. Kokomo, Racing at its most breathtaking. The Burg, Whooooa Racin. |

This one is pretty easy...
THAT. For everyone else this last year was aeseome, I just loved being able to help bring it back and will be there this year. Be neat if I get a dual sport bike, to be able to ride it aroudn the track or if I get a cruiser to take a cruise around the track once it has been raced on...I hope this dream comes true. |
