As a QMA supporter I do wish the Kokomo club luck in building thier club. I had the pleasure of working with a KQMC alumi Zeke Lewis since 2005. He and his family are what QMA and 1/4 midgets are really about. Last year's Robbie Stanley race was Zeke's last 1/4 midget race, and it was nice it was at his home club. I am thankful the club did what they did for him.
With that said, I am really sad I will not get to see another R4 heavy AA race at a unqiue 1/4 midget track. For those who haven't raced there is changes like a dirt track during the day. I have had many good times there. Till we all get back together be well KQMC. Jimmie Phelps |
