Vipers Chassis copy cat of Keith Kunz Bullet?

I was standing in the staging area of a race, when I saw a "Viper Chassis" right next to a Keith Kunz "Bullet." I began comparing the two; Ladder mounts, shock mounts, etc.. To me it looks as if they are they same exact car. I would almost bet that if you took either chassis to either shop they would each fit in each others jig. Now its obvious that Keith Kunz/ Bullet Chassis has been around much longer than "Viper" . I was woundering if anyone else had noticed the similarites of the two? Is Cory Krusemen now running Vipers? He ran Bullets on the west coast for a solid amount of time? What happend their? Is there any connection with the Kruser and Viper, in terms ownership?

To my understanding, when Cory came back he raced for Glenn Crossno. He is the owner of ITI and the now builds the Viper chassis. When Cory started driving for Glenn they started out running TCR chassis' and later switched to Bullet Chassis'. ITI was then the west coast distributor and seller for Bullet Chassis. Two season ago Kruseman left Crossno's team and started his own team running Bullet chassis. At the end of the 07 season Kruseman ran the first Viper chassis. To my knowledge the Viper is based off bullet, but I'm sure it is tweaked to run a little better on the westcoast tracks. I also believe that the Viper is a little bit wider.

Here's the family tree as I know it.
Challenger - Stealth - Spike - Bullet - Viper. |

If you were to take a tape measure to any chasis and compare them all you would be surprised how similar they all are.

He builds chassis' and gives his best, I guess it would be easier to just sit at the bar and watch (as your signature suggests). Get a life.
