How do we get the USAC leadership to work toward getting Silver Crown back to Phoenix in March and Milwaukee in August? Indycar's 2026 schedule has a couple opportunities that have always been great tracks for the Silver crown series.

Contact the WI State Fair promoters board (for the Milwaukee wknd)? They ran it last year...

We know USAC wants to go to PHX & MIL but the promoters of those tracks have to want USAC. In the past mile tracks have wanted USAC to bring the purse + 10/20K and they keep the back gate. Any volunteers want to help here?

How about the Dodge Co Fairgrounds (Beaver Dam, WI) 1/2 mile?

Would take a promoter / big race sponsor / etc...

New promotion group of Milwaukee last year...they basically took it over (after 2023)...Penske was involved with the takeover in 2024 too, but last year was just the WI Fair group...(I couldn't find an article on that, but maybe someone could...).

https://www.nbcsports.com/motor-spor...at-first-start

Flood their in-boxes...

https://wistatefair.com/wsfp/contact...ate-fair-park/

"Shari Black, the CEO and executive director of the Wisconsin State Fair"

I'd imagine bringing a big sponsor could help secure the deal...

The Indycar weekend at Phoenix is the same weekend at the NASCAR Cup Series race. This is the first time that I know of that Indycar & the NASCAR Cup Series shared the same track on the same weekend. I have a hunch that either the Xfinity Series or the Truck Series will be with them. If the USAC Silver Crown Series were to join them I would think that race would be on a Friday, but it would be a very crowded pit area. Be cool if it happens that the Silver Crown race make its way to a tv screen like FS1. That could be a great weekend for all parties involved and give the Silver Crown guys and gals a chance to run in front of the NASCAR and IndyCar teams and showcase their talent. Who knows maybe one of them gets a chance at a ride.

20 car owners willing to tow 3500 miles for one race. They were down to 14 at Salem, 100 miles from Indy.

A few of us long time USAC fans believe a reduction, not an increase in pavement racing would be best for the overall health of the series

A valid point for sure. That said, Milwaukee is one of those places where the Silver Crown cars are a good fit in spite of the surface. Phoenix, not so much.

Maybe not many of us left who attended the Silver Crown race at Milwaukee back in the late 80's. One of the best races I have seen in nearly 60 years following that series.
