The only redeeming quality about the end of summer is my favorite event of all time, the 4 Crown Nationals. I’ve only missed a couple of them and that was when the track I flagged at didn’t have the sense to take that weekend off.
I’m really excited for this one as I think there could be some interesting scenarios play out. Stop by and say hi if you’re there, we’ll be pre-racing in the suite 7 parking spots. Might even have a couple extra suite tickets available if you would be interested in that. DM me if interested. Hope to see you there |

Looking forward to my first 4 Crown, but only able to go on Saturday. Should be great!

The new format this year should make all 3 nights less lengthy. No qualifying on Saturday, should help the track and the efficiency

From the tv it looked good. Amazing how Eldora can be racy when the track isn’t prepped for wing cars. Well done Levi Jones and staff. With the absence of wing cars and time trials the Saturday show should go off nicely. Congrats to Danner last nite on the victory.

That was the best track and racing for USAC Eldoras had in 20yrs.
Go Briggs. Bet Ballou was upset he couldn't race. Get well Blu.

Lets say a prayer for Steve Philips of the 71P
He'd been posting for a couple weeks now that his BP was going way high at times. I don't know if it was at the track or not but he posted this morning that he'd had a heart attack and they were going to scan to see if a bipass or stents were to be performed. Chuck.
