1. Who is the crazy guy who stands behind a "door" in turn one? What is he doing there?
2. Why aren't the blowers working as well this year as the past few years? The fumes were really bad tonight. 3. The flips seem to be getting wilder. They've had to throw the red for fence repairs much more than we remember in years past. Are the cars getting that much faster? 4. They have a tool that is pulled by a tractor that digs up the top inch or so of the track. We assume that is a tool that has some other purpose than preparing race tracks. What is that purpose? |

Dick, This tool is called a Rotterra. It is a power harrow used to smooth and level the ground after it is plowed. Most race tracks remove the back roller that breaks up dirt clods,as it builds up with mud. The Rotterra was built in Holland and I am told it is used to pick tulips. Hope this helps.
