Cale Drake is trying to prove Ballou correct.

Ironic that you posted this just before Ballou ran over an infield tire and flipped by himself. I think the phrase “Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” may apply.

I chuckled last night watching that happen. I think Ballou has crashed out of at least 3 ISW races this week. Of course last night he declined to speak with D York after he stepped on it.

I’m not a driver, owner, or promoter, so the following opinion/comment isn’t valid. I think someone who is so eager to share their criticism of others being unwilling to discuss their own mistake is more embarrassing than the mistake itself.

What did you want him to say that you don't already know the answer too?

"I stepped on my D"

That would be a good place to start. I respect when a driver can summon enough humility to say “I messed up.” It would be meaningful from someone that was, and has been to others on several occasions, critical of someone else when they made a mistake.

Last year at either Crandall Tx or Texarkana (can't remember) Tim Crawley got back in a car and was looking pretty good, till he dumped it.

Infield reporter went to interview him and his first words were...."Well, I stepped on it".

The crowd busted up, cause they knew it was true.

I still like Ballou, but he's the modern day Sammy. Every once in awhile you think before you speak. But the lack of a filter is also what makes them fun.

So now that everyone has critiqued RB for declining to speak to Drake, can we get back to the original post. A featherless arrow was a pretty nice way to put it. I wonder how many more 2B’s Benic wants to build this year. At least with Robert he destroys his own stuff.

He gets a pass for the nasty tumble over turn 4 @ Bloomington. Cut tire ( most likely by a rock) caused that one. I’m pretty sure Ballou said he was like “ a dart with no feathers”.

Eat dirt, be happy 🇺🇸
