Solid week of racing. Both series had championship battles come down to the final laps. Those dang wangers win in the drama category. That Atomic race was pretty solid with several plot twists throughout the night. Same with eastern storm. Action track usa put on an excellent event! 19 cars on that bull ring is always fun to watch. Support division was their weekly Micros. They were 65 strong. E.S. also had a solid event at Port Royal with support from Silver crown and local wang division.
Over all the All Stars had a great week. Excellent car counts everywhere. Very solid competition. Lap traffic affected every race. It was fun to watch each night as more than 3 to 5 drivers had a chance to win. |

I enjoyed watching both series on Flo. While my first choice will always be the USAC cars, either sprint or midget, my personal opinion is that the Allstars overall put on a better show with tighter competition and a larger field of cars. 22 non-winged sprints on big half miles don't often result in close wheel to wheel racing throughout the field, especially in the heat races. While I didn't recognize half of the names in the Ohio series, they sure put on a spectacular show each night. I thought the Action Track USAC show was great.
