I don't know where Christy and Drake were this weekend but they had a new pit reporter. She did fine, I thought her questions to the drivers were well thought out and worth asking, sometimes leading into an answer that she wanted, so in that regard she did really good, but her delivery was a bit rough which I'm sure will smooth out with time.
With all of that said, I don't know how long I have had Flo but I do think that I have been spoiled in that time with Georgia, Christy, and Drake and don't think they get the recognition that they probably deserve for the job they do.
That's all, sorry for the positive post.

I saw Drake on TV at MSI. He had his headphone on and a Microphone in hand. Not for sure who he was working for.

It seemed odd that Brian never identified her. After the interview he just said thank you. Who is this mystery woman?

Pretty sure Brian identified and thanked her several times. I don't recall her name. But I do think she does Belleville's infield interviews every year.

i am sure those watching on TV could hear fine but in the grandstands @ Belleville we couldn't hear the announcer at all and the infield lady with a soft voice was even harder to hear, I am sure she did a good job too bad we were left out of the info!

First off it was great to meet you and your friend. Hope your drive home was uneventful as mine. Rolled into driveway around 5pm Sunday. Who would guess a flying program book from the Top Row would get a couple IOW fellas to meet
You’re absolutely correct, her voice was too soft and made her questions unable to be heard by the crowd on both nights. I will say that where I sat on Saturday I could hear Brian from the booth much better. Maybe it was just the angle of the PA speakers? With all that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the racing and facility. Glad they let the push trucks in on the parade lap. They worked so hard both nights trying to get the track worked in enough to get the cars on the track. I’d hate to think how many laps they made on both tracks and both nights!! Those winds were vicious Friday.

Jim, enjoy those Rocky Mountain Midgets, and if you ever get over here to Indiana for some races, shoot me a message!

Drake was doing pit reporting for Indy 500 qualifying on Sirius XM radio. We listened to the Indy Car channel all the way home from Belleville and Drake did a great job. He sounded as if he'd been doing the Sirius XM gig for years. We may have heard the last of Drake on the USAC broadcasts. Best of luck to him!

The pit reporter was Genevieve Malone an IU student and an excellent one. She already did other spots used in previous broadcasts. You will see more of her. I'm sure she was nervous

No offense taken or I wouldn’t have came back the second night to see you and talk a little bit. I thought that was funny
