Cummins’ (Princeton, Ind.) victory on Saturday night at Kokomo Speedway, coupled with a runner-up finish during Friday night’s opener Lincoln Park Speedway, has pushed him to the forefront of the standings entering the third round of the series on Sunday night, July 28, at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.), likewise, finished in the top-two spots during each of the first two feature events, winning at Lincoln Park and notching a second at Kokomo. Cummins’ lead stands at three over Seavey.* Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Briggs Danner (Allentown, Pa.) are knotted up in third, 25 points out of the lead.* Meanwhile, Daison Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) rounds out the top-five at the moment, 30 points back from the lead. A maximum of 84 points are up for grabs for each driver each night throughout USAC Indiana Sprint Week.
