Kyle Larson

Is this guy the second coming of AJ Foyt?

He just laid an @$$ kicking on the rest of the field at North Wilkesboro for the NASCAR All Star race and at one point had a 1/2 track 10-12 second lead and this is after he started the race in the back of the pack.
This was his 3rd NASCAR All Star race win on the third different track.

I’ll reserve judgement till after next years Indy 500, but he is off to one he!! of a start.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

I said it before, If he'd of started nascar with hendrick, he'd have four or five championships already.

Honestly in that all star race, I was waiting to see how hed get screwed this week.
BTW where you been, He's 30 now, some of us been watching since he was 14.

I do think he is. Can't wait to see how he'll do in the Indy 500.

The best thing that ever happened to him was Cheap Chip caving and firing him!!!

GREAT times we are in, to get to watch this!

Lota people complaining about the race (being boring), but those of us that appreciate a CLINC from the best, LOVED it! The radio compared it to a shut-out from a pitcher (for those of us who like baseball). He started deeper and the field and took the lead and made them all look like chumps! Thankfully no late cautions and gwc BS! Like Kyle said "old fashion ass whoppin!". Some more of those will be ok!!!

After thinking about it.

In my opinion it would be cool to see the USAC Silver Crown Series give North Wilkesboro a try with Larson in that race.

I thought that Tony Stewart was the second coming of A.J. Foyt?

Just to clear the air in 1961 when I was 10 years old I WAS AJ Foyt. There, argument settled

That race, on that track, with the worn out pavement, separated a lot of the race drivers from the video gamers. Obviously Larson is on the verge of greatness, a top run next year at the 500 would be the final piece.

There will never be another A.J. Foyt, times are different. Stewart was the most versatile driver to come along in a while and continues to prove it in the NHRA. Stew could have won Indy had that been a focus.

Larson is in the right situation to win Indy and is the most versatile driver since Stewart came along. His success now was never going to happen with Ganassi.

Larson don't need Indy to prove anything. Except to himself
Indy sure as hell needs him.
