Helpful hints and reminders for USAC Indiana Midget Week!
1) Credit cards are accepted on main grand stand side, but CASH is recommended! Exact change at the gates always helps us move the line faster!
2) There are 3 lines at the Main Gate - The cash/credit line will move slower, the middle line will move fastest, and 3rd lane is for those already with bands. (Please see picture attached)
3) Yes, coolers are allowed. But we have a full concession. And if bringing a cooler be respectful on size to those that will be sitting around you.
4) NO ALCOHOL and NO GLASS BOTTLES can be carried in. Coolers, bags, etc. will be checked at the main gate.
6) Yes, there are wooden bleachers on grandstand side, but highly recommend bringing your own lawn chair seating!
7) Read and be aware of signage.
8 ) Chairs and blankets can not be put out until the main gates open at 5pm.
9) You may purchase bands and take them with you at the main gate if you have people waiting at the car. But bands for those under 10 must be put on the child at the main gate, you will not be allowed to take with you.
10) Entry gate is one way in/Exit gate is one way out
11) Your wristband will allow you to exit and reenter

You need to park in the appropriate areas. It has been clearly marked for your convenience. DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE CONCESSION/TOWER area as that area is for official track vehicles only. Attached is a picture to assist you in finding the appropriate area to park on the main grandstand side!

Is this the area on the southside of the cemetery where early arrivers usually park backed up to the fence?

There is handicapped parking, yes. But there is not enough to go around. When did LPS change the parking around?? I remember a few years ago, parking was layed out different. The first 2,3 rows were handicapped alibiet in grass(which is fine) But now it right next to where every one drives by to park on down the way. I've been to LPS 3 times' already. This last week, I had to park about 1/4 mile away in regular parking. Looked like the handicapped was full by the time I got there. Is there another section, I do not know about? I seen about a 20 ft run of handicapped. In front of ticket booth. While watching races' I think I seen about 30 plus people including myself either with cane, walker(which I have) and wheel chair, with push or motorized...I personally have had to change my thought process over the last few months(injuries) But i still like to enjoy the races'.. Can no longer, hang out at the track for hours b4 the races' start. Just to get A decent seat on top row. Last couple times been there. 1 time sat in bleachers beside beer garden. last week i sat in bleachers just off the entrance for food line.
