What a cool deal! I gotta admit, for a long time, I haven't thought about traveling too far, from my weekly Saturday night track, other than about Angell Park or Madison International; but THIS spiked my interest...nice late afternoon show and FREE!!!??? We lost the main guy (KO) I used to check with for tickets for stuff like this; so maybe I should take advantage of this offer...I'd just have to take a week off from Flea markets and garage sales...(lol).

Think of it as uncharted territory for flea markets etc.

And you could go to Paragon for their show afterwards without to much problem for 2 races in one day,or Brownstown although you would probably miss the heats....

Or maybe its just me that used to try for 2 races in a day many times in different states over the years. One time even tried for 3,but the weather screwed that up for me,so I only made it to 2, Port Royal to Silver Springs.

Oh ya, I used to try for two races often...hell I even tried racing two in the midget! Got 4th in the penultimate ill-fated APSARA series feature at Angell Park, put the car in the trailer - and ME (fueled it up, nut & bolted, set air PSI, etc), while dad drove to Beaver Dam. We got there right before they were pushing off the BADGER feature, but the pit gate was closed and we couldn't get anyone to let us in!...mighta been meant to be...fully prepared the car the next week and won the last APSARA dash and got 2nd in the feature....

But ya, if I got I'll be stopping at gas stations putting flyers out for my Swap Meet & Car Show @ Rockford Speedway in April!
