I think I saw them on the Extreme schedule...back to back.

Bummer for no Little Belleville,by FAR my fave midget track.

Still wish someday Highland would be on their schedule...

What is on the "Xtreme (do we really need)" Schedule, around those traditional dates, is the Sprint cars, not the midgets...

When the "Xtreme (do we really need)" schedules came out, I noticed the sprints were on the mid-Sept dates and hoped POWRi was still set for those long-time midget races.

Spoon River has MOWA on their website for the Tom Knowles, the following wknd (POWRi is at Fairbury)...& the Hull Memorial too? So would that be USAC D2?

With so many of the Xtreme midget shows running in cosanction with Powri, no one will need Dirtvision to watch; just get MAVtv Plus for $7/month.

I doubt it’ll work like that.

I doubt that WRG wanted it to work out like that, but what are they going to do? MAV can film the Poweri cars and Dirtvision can film the Xtreme cars? Poweri has a streaming partner too. I watched all the races last year. Do you think they might spurn Forrest Lucas just to be able to run cosanctions with WoO?

I just can’t imagine WRG will allow their race to be streamed over a competitors channel. And before you say, “but it’s also a Powri race”, let’s get real.

You make a great point and I agree, but I believe that WRG was more worried about the optics of promoting midget races with 12 car fields. They will hang on to the hope that many will purchase Dirtvision for the sprint car shows and the couple standalone midget shows. It's year one for this venture- unless they were willing to take a financial hit in the interest of future growth (large purses), partnering with and sharing streaming rights with another sanction makes the most sense and the least risk. I would surmise that WRG would like to *not* cosanction with Powri in 2023, but you gotta start somewhere.

Unfortunately it looks like powri is not part of the Knowles Memorial or the Jacksonville race that weekend. The Hull memorial is IMRA/ USAC D2. Been going to the Knowles race pretty much since the first one. They used to get 50+ cars. Only been low 20’s lately with a few of them D2.

I have reached out to POWRI and Jacksonville about this and the Barlow Memorial with no response. I do know to not thumb down anything of POWRI on Facebook. They'll block your ability to comment. Thankfully that means I don't have to support their other local shows at Farmer City, Macon, Fairbury nor Jacksonville.
