2008 "Promoter of the Year"

Tom Helfrich, promoter of the Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) and the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana, captured the “Promoter of the Year” honors for the second consecutive year.

What a honor. Tom earns everybit of these awards. The number one track in the country. Hands down. They don't call it "The Class Track" for nothing. Every other track in the country should pattern itself around the way Haubstadt is run, week in and week out. Congrats Tom and your deserving staff of professionals. See if you can make it three years in a row!!

Well then, I guess you wouldn't want to hear my complaint that it's too far south. Move it 100 miles or so north on US41 and I'd like it better. Oh, wait..... There's already a track in THAT area. Seriously tho, I don't mind the drive. It's always worth the trip. I've met people from MO & TN who come to every race there. :thumb

I have been going to Tri-State for over 21 years now a 350 mile roundtrip and no place else I have been even comes close to what they have built there nothing but class all of the way congratulations once again Tommy and crew you deserve it.
