Tomorrow we have the wonderful Let’s Race Two event from the Darke County Ohio plot that is Eldora Speedway. I’ve tried stir the pot a bit on Twitter to find out if both the Outlaws which are Dirtvision and USAC which is Flo will be available to both even if you only subscribe to one. This race was not held last year obviously but the prior year it was and you had to subscribe to both to watch it all. I remember a few folks disappointed by that and I was in that group. I would’ve figured two years later they would’ve been able to work out a compromise that does nothing but benefit all involved. Apparently that’s not the case. And so be it. My question is why? I’m sure there’s some corporate contract BS, but what is it and why don’t they spit it out. I watched Smoke on Flo yesterday praise the streaming service and talk about how it grows the sport, yet you can’t, at least not yet, watch it all with one subscription. Seems like one step up and two steps back to me
Because the World of Outlaws signed an exclusive broadcast rights contract with Dirtvision and USAC signed the same with FLO. No reason either PPV service should give their rights away for free.
If you only have FLO Dirtvision still offers monthly passes for $39.99 which is way less than you would spend traveling to Eldora this weekend.
Why do people feel they should only have to buy one supscription to wacth every race?
If they went to the track they would spend more for a 3 day trip then what buying 2 to 4 yearly
supscriptions.
I don’t think anyone has a problem with buying multiple subscriptions to watch different things. However. On a weekend like this it’s completely stupid that they don’t each broadcast the whole night of racing.
