Ya know, I"m reading people say the mods are there every year. I know I"m older and memory isn"t what it used to be, but I remember midgets running ,then sprints, but no mods. I"m talking about MIDGET WEEK ONLY. I know they run every week there. Were mods there at IMW or have I blocked them out?
There's been mods at every Burg Midget week except 2020 when a limit was put on sprints and midgets and mods were eliminated due to covid.
They used to run the mods between the midgets and sprint features but about five years ago, after about fifteen cautions they parked the mods in the infield and pushed off the sprints.
Since then they've taken five or ten between the midget finish and pushed off the sprints. Drivers need a chance to change tearoffs or underwear.
