The Poll Question is... Do you visit this site using a mobile phone? and do you use the mobile version of the website?

Can't afford the web on mobile. Anyone know how much it is? And does it work well. I had it for sprint for a month free and was not to impressed with it.

It depends on what phone you have. I had a regular phone that I was not impress with. I upgrade to a PDA Smart phone its awsome. $15.00 per month unlimited use from Sprint

I have a wireless laptop running through my cable provider and the top left of my screen says mobile version.

It's a link to go to the mobile version. You actually aren't on it until you click it.

That is correct... I have the board setup to automatically use the mobile version for some phones, not all of them. The wording Mobile Version is only a link.

Since I have the Lg Dare from Verizon Wireless, which is completely touch screen, it seems like the "Mobile Version" is much easier to navigate than the normal version.

The normal version is too wide and requires too much scrolling side to side to read posts...

Most of the time I'm on my laptop though...

I recently switched from an AT&T Tilt to an AT&T Fuze both with the media package. The former worked PERFECT when viewing IOW. I have yet to get the Fuze model figured out for the new phone. :headbang

I have a bottom of the line Nokia so visiting IOW.com using a cell phone is probably out of the question. I probably wouldn't even have the Nokia if everyone didn't keep telling me I needed it.:O:
