Hey guys I've never raced before but was told a micro or mini would be a good place to start. I could use some advice on which is a better option and the best place to find one for sale.

Best one for you would be what is closer to you. Personally we started in 1000cc Mini Sprint/Lightning sprints 7 years ago, but the track was 15 miles from us.

My first suggestion would be as Cody said, post your location. This will help a lot since micros and minis run in 2 completely different regions of Indiana. Micros are primarily the north western part of the state, whereas minis(1000cc) are primarily the southern part of the state. Both are about equal on entry level equipment cost, though micros seem to have a better parts availability/national following.
