What are some driver opinions on the best seat inserts that are out there? Butler built? Sharp advantage? The crash pad? pros vs cons
Thanks in advance |

I used the Butler Built insert and never had an issue and loved it. Now that I see the Sharp seat inserts and how he makes them and they look great, I would give him a call if I were still racing and have him do them. You definitely need one or the other they make a huge difference when you crash and I wish they would have been available when I first started racing!

Also nothing against the crash pad because I’m sure it has its pros, but it doesn’t form to your body like the butler built or sharp inserts do! These are the same type of inserts Indy cars use.

I am looking into the seat inserts as well. Bald Spot Sports is another option along with Sharp Advantage and Butler Built. I am leaning towards bald spot currently but that is because I know someone who knows someone. Interested to hear more opinions!

Sharp Advantage with Dave Sharpley is hands down the best. Only way to go.
