Saturday July 20th. Last week's feature was a GREAT race...the top 3 were with-in range of grabbing the victory trophy, with a new winner (Ryan Finley) emerging...AND he got a $100 bonus for jumping in a cool water filled swimming pool the track had setup for a post race "thrill"! The IRS midgets compliment a full card of various forms of Stock car racing. The historic track, with local radio station 96.7fm (which HoF / Legend Kevin Olson has been known to be a guest on), are also offering many 96cent specials at the concessions windows. The action is sure to be scorching, and a colder front will be moving in to make for a comfortable night at the races!
The show is still on...rained pretty hard, but last I saw, good line of haulers to get in the pits AND it cooled off a LOT. Many tracks around called it, so it's a good night to come out.

Sorry I didn't get back on here after track officials DID call it off, with rain hanging out for a little bit...
BUT, the IRS midgets ARE set to return on August 17th, along with a BIG show that night -
TWO forms of Late Models ("Supers" & "Limited"), the track's entry level v-8 stock car class, and the Super Cup cars (mini-Cup cars for ages 10yrs old and up)
