18 sprint cars on the paved half-mile. Bobby Santos won. Taylor Ferns 2nd. Kody Swanson 3rd. Santos made some sweet passes on the outside moving up, going for the pass for the lead midway but the leader (55 Sam Pierce-sponsored car) got saved by a caution right at the moment. Race restarted and Santos took the lead with Ferns behind him. They caught traffic and Santos quickly got by in comparison to Ferns who could not work through that well and fell in the grasp of Swanson. The early leader must've destroyed his tires because he went straight backwards.
