Nonetheless, with a new grandstand, SOMEONE must have $$$ to put into it.
USAC is promoting it. There was a post awhile back about it I do believe
Its funny that someone puts more money in the place than has been put in since I have been going,(1984) and people still find a reason to be negative. This has to be safer than the old bleachers with the unlevel and odd shaped steps. After hearing year after year that the place is going to close forever, someone whether it is USAC, or the person who holds the lease, are spending big money on the place. I personally hope this eliminates the chairs behind the last row of seats that clogs the walkway in front of the press box. Good job to all involved. See you April 12.
Brent and Levi I dont think Ron(or I) were being negative in mentioning that part of the hill where we usually sat was being covered by the new grandstand. It was an observation. I'll hold my opinion on whether I like it or not until I actually go there and see it. Dont be so sensitive.

I also just made an observation. I did not invest time or money in the project, so I have nothing to be sensitive about. Sorry if you were sensitive to my observation.
I always sat near the pole, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right. It all depended on what was available.
I guarded the trash barrel diligently for many years and am proud to say that the trash barrel was not stolen during my tenure! 😁
