Bert sprint car trans help!

Folks, does anyone have experience with a Bert Sprint Car two-speed transmission? We're having a helluva time getting ours together for a vintage Champ Car project. There's no factory manual for the thing and we are bamboozled!

these things are pretty simple look up a late model or modified team in your area.
