At this point we're looking to hit the first 2 nights of sprint week and the last night. Tri State is a heck of a drive for us as it's 255 miles and none of it is interstate, so we decided to make a 2 day trip to the Class Track. My question is this, can anyone recommend a good golf course between Haubstadt and our home up here in Lake County Indiana. Our route is 41 to 63 to 41. If any of you have a suggestion that is not far off that route, we appreciate your input. Thanks and see you at the race's.

Hulman Links Golf Course in Terre Haute . It's east of Terre Haute of highway 40

Second the Hulman Links course. Beautiful course, and pretty accessible. It is a pretty tight, but fair layout. It is about 20 minutes +/- off US 41. Another option, depending upon what you consider too far out of the way is Christmas Lake Village course in Santa Clause IN. It is about 55 min. E of Haubstadt. Take I64 E to the Ferdinand exit. Beautiful course, usually exceptionally well maintained. Big wide fairways with large greens, multiple tee options. A little more forgiving than Hulman Links. I don't think you can go wrong with either course. I've played both extensively and like them both.

Vincennes country club right off 41 then if you stay the night in haubstadt. Cambridge golf course about 5 miles south of the track. I can see it in my backyard. Real easy to get to. Nice wide open links course. Recommend playing extremely early or having a 4 some

I knew I could count on my IOW brethren to come up with great suggestions, as we will consider all of them so keep them coming. Personally I like wide open course's because truthfully I suck at golf but I enjoy playing once in awhile
