Please take a moment to reflect on and say a prayer for the victims and their families who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor 76 years ago today. I wasn't around back in 1941 but my heart aches no less for the 2400+ souls that were lost on that warm December Sunday morning.

Thank You for posting this, it's a time in American History that shouldn't be forgotten. I have to wonder if it's even discussed in the classroom anymore?
I remember back in the early 70's when I was stationed in Pearl Harbor, visited the Memorial several times, every time was so emotional, sad...

Thank you for your service Dan! And thanks to all whom served and are currently serving.
On a day where many are looking at schedules planning a day off or a vacation to go racing somewhere. Let's not forget those who have given us the freedom to do so.

"I have to wonder if it's even discussed in the classroom anymore?" I doubt that the World War II era ever gets much classroom time these days -- too many in the namby-pamby mindset would get their toes stepped upon. Sad.
