Walker Looking Ahead to Kokomo Doubleheader
By Jessica Jenkins

Coming off the momentum of the Chili Bowl and claiming the 13th place finisher's award in DuQuoin, Gage Walker is ready to get back to a track where he's experienced success. Friday and Saturday begins the outdoor USAC National midget season in Kokomo, IN and the 19 year old is looking forward to racing family owned team's #7 again.

With four feature races in as many appearances at Kokomo Speedway since 2014, Walker has two top tens and three top 15s. In his most recent appearance at the 1/4 mile dirt track last October, Walker had one of the fastest cars all night and raced to a spectacular fourth place finish while barely missing out on the podium. Now he takes on the two-day Kokomo Grand Prix to continue his strong 2017 start.

Updates as the rising star races each night will be posted on his Facebook fan page @GageWalkerRacing, so head over there to keep up with what is happening.
