Coming up this Friday, September 9 here at Jacksonville Speedway is the Herb Barlow Memorial. In action will be the Neal Tire and Auto Service Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Car Series presented by Casey's General Store 410 Winged Sprints, Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series, Speedway Motors POWRi 600cc Winged Outlaw Micros, DIRTcar UMP Pro Late Models, and UMP Street Stocks.

And before we get the "too many classes" comments... as we always do at Jacksonville, we will organize this event so that our travelling open wheel fans can see mainly open wheel classes and get done at a reasonable time. We will have maximum 2 heats and one feature of our two local classes unless something crazy happens with car count. We will run those two features last. So you have a total of 4 heat races of local racing to sit through prior to the conclusion of all open wheel racing. Hope to see you for what is a great annual event at Jacksonville Speedway - the Herb Barlow Memorial.

Admission is $25 Adult, $7 Teens, 10 & under FREE

For sure our greatest BC memory at Jacksonville Speedway highlights the promo poster for 2016. It was Bryan's first winged sprint car win and he was driving the locally owned Rick Pollock 21x. The finish between Bryan and Chris Bell at the line was incredible.
