Maybe we got lucky but last week we traveled to Indy from Bloomington and back on 37 without a single problem on Thursday and Friday. No stoppage, no slowing down except to 45 mph in some areas. Nothing like construction we have at home. Again, maybe we got lucky but I saw no issues.
I live at the north end of the construction zone. Avoid it like the plague tonight. Came home at 5 and it was backed up to the Dairy Queen. You can turn left off of 37 at the Taco Bell and follow that around. Go Straight at the stop sign and then left at the next Cnty Road. Brings you back to 37 south of where I live. Someone will usually let you out there.
