So its still the offseason and we need things to ponder. What pondered to me reading a couple threads and with the Chili Bowl near.
If Anderson had a "Tiny 400" Saturday night of the Brickyard weekend consisting of a 400 lap midget race starting 30 cars and paying $20,000 to win with a similar purse breakdown to Little 500 but a little less per each spot, would it work?
Live pit stops, minimum of 3 stops perhaps. Thoughts over a crazy left field idea?
I'm not sure if there are enough good pavement Midgets left to fill a 30 car field. I know there was a solid field at the Speedrome last year for the "Tony Stewart Classic," but you really need an actual pavement Midget for Anderson, not a Speedrome/indoors car.
