Up until he got up into the turn 3 wall Aaron Pierce and Shane Cockrum were THE show at Du Quoin. I felt bad for Aaron after his miscue in 3 but I also felt bad for the spectators that likely were deprived of what had the makings of a wild and woolly finish.
The way Aaron was throwing his car into turn 1 about 3 lanes higher than most anyone else was as entertaining as anything I've seen in a Silver Crown race for a while. At least since Robert Ballou's performance at Du Quoin a few years ago.
Thanks for posting the video. I wonder if anyone has posted non in-car footage of Aaron at Du Quoin. I wanna' show all my tunnel vision dirt late model buddies here in The Land O' Lincoln and crooked politicians what an open wheel race car looks like when driven properly on a mile dirt track!
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
