Looking forward to the Gold Crown weekend. Thanks for sticking with this event. The weather has not been very cooperative over the years. Hopefully this move to Sept will help.

Has anyone seen an entry list yet? In years past, a couple weeks prior there seemed to be one available. I'm hoping some of the PA guys will come run. Also interesting to see if any drivers be doing double duty with midgets and winged sprints.

Looks like moving the Gold Crown up to Labor Day in hopes for great weather. Mother Nature is going to cooperate with predicted forecast of Sunny and 89 both days.

If you've never been to Granite City and you love open wheel on the dirt, you've got to try to make the Gold Crown. The weather is looking fantastic, the USAC midgets and a strong field of MOWA 410 sprint cars... great weekend coming up!

A weekend I look forward to every year. Excited with the date change and the potential for nice weather this weekend. When it comes to the entry list, I'd expect almost everyone you can think of that runs a midget in the Midwest, with the exception of Clauson who will be running NSL. Rico has Calistoga on his schedule for this weekend, so I'm anxious to see what he decides.

Potential double duty

Austin Brown?
Rico if he comes

Does anyone know a format? My guess would be top 6 from Friday lock in to a dash on Saturday. The rest of the field races in on Saturday.
