On September 27, 2008 a group of owners, drivers and others with an interest in preserving the future of three-quarter midget racing came together at the Decatur County Fairgrounds in Greensburg, Ind. That evening the Midwest TQ Racing League held their first race and a “New Era in Three-Quarter Midget Racing” began.

Now, almost seven years later, the MTQRL will be holding its 100th event. Please join us at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, Ind. on Saturday August 8th to witness this milestone. Practice is at 7:00 pm, qualifications 7:30 pm, and racing is scheduled to begin at 8:00 pm.

Adult general admission is $10, children 7-12 are $5, and those 6 and under are free. The first 100 adults to purchase a general admission ticket will receive a commemorative yearbook from the MTQRL’s inaugural season. There will be giveaways all night – license plates, t-shirts and more!
