The 2nd Annual Willard Bess Memorial for 1000cc stock lightning sprints will be held on the super fast 1/4 mi 3 time track of the year Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury IL. This race will pay the winged lightning sprints $2000 to win and $100 to start the 22 car 20 lap Feature event and will be held on Sat Night Aug 1st. Pits open at 3pm with hot laps at 6:15 and racing to follow. The ILSS will be the host series and will run by their rules. All cars will run the Hoosier SP2 or SP3 tire on the RR with the national weight rule of 940 w/driver after the race. No cockpit adjustable shocks within the drivers reach.
