What is the general beliefs/opinions on the various seat insert "crash pads" (that name advertised everyday on another OW site...lol)?

...I know, ideally, the best situation is to not crash, but in the event maybe not having any support to buy brand new parts (which ideally would fail less than used stuff...lol), etc; a situation could occur...lol.

I also see 2015 NASCAR racing, they have attached the belts to the seats (I always thought having them to the cage would HELP if the seat wasn't correctly installed...lol). Anybody using in SC&Ms?

Seems like the NASCAR seats are becoming more of a self-contained "capsule", and if they are mounting the belts to them I would hope they are being designed with rigid mounting points for the belts and also to insure that the seats are virtually an integral part of the cage structure. Any attempts to mount seatbelts directly to the seats we currently use would be asking for trouble. NO lol.

If you ever see Chad Wilson at a race in OH/IN/MI area ask him, he broke his back as I understand it & now uses one. Won't race w/o it, I saw him after injuring himself at Waynesfield oh he was hurting
