TASKER TO BECOME VOICE OF THE GATOR “DIRT” NATIONALS
For immediate release
Preparations for the Southern States Midget Series (SSMS) Gator “DIRT” Nationals to be held at the North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida on February 12-14, are well underway. The three-day extravaganza is shaping up to be the premier division II midget race in the country. There will be three complete shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday along with a special invitation-only “Race of Champions” on Friday night.
The Gator DIRT Nationals will see a star-studded cast of drivers from across the nation converge onto the 3/8 mile dirt oval of North Florida Speedway. This makes it only fitting that an announcer from Illinois will be making the trek down to call the show on the microphone. Illini Racing Series midget announcer Zach Tasker will have the lap by lap announcing duties for this prestigious race. “I'm really looking forward to getting down to Flordia for the Gator Nationals; I would like to thank Wayne Davis for this great opportunity. Division II midget racing is exploding across the country, and its great there is finally a marquee nationwide event for these racers who I'm sure will put on a great show."
Tasker’s announcing and PR experience include many series in the Midwest including the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series, the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series, the Illini Racing Series, STARS national midgets, and the USAC HPD midget series. The Gator DIRT Nationals will be broadcast with an online PPV on xsan.tv. Make plans now to come on out of the cold of the Midwest and drive down south to see the best division II midget race you will see anywhere as drivers from the Illini Racing Series, Illinois Midget Racing Association, Illinois Lightning Sprint Series, MMSA, DMA, BAM, USAC HPD and many more take on the best the SSMS has to offer!
